Corcreggan Mill

You can find Corcreggan Mill nestled a step outside Dunfanaghy on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. Our range of cosy & unique accommodations will provide you the perfect base from which to enjoy the richness of our Donegal culture.

We have a number of self-catering options for our guests including our apartment, railway carriage or bell tents. During High Season, breakfast can be added to the rate and guests are also invited to enjoy a delicious dinner from our Gourmet Fish & Chip van where you can also purchase a range of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks.

Apartments

Our newly refurbished self-catering apartments can accommodate 2-4 people in each and are the perfect base to explore this corner of North West Donegal, whatever the season. We have 3 self-catering apartments available:

 The West Wing (Sleeps up to 4 people | Adult Only)

 The Kiln House (Sleeps up to 3 people)

 The Loft Studio (Sleeps up to 4 people)

Railway Carriage

Our Railway Carriage is one of our popular glamping options. The beautiful 150-year-old, mahogany carriage was restored and rebuilt back in the late 1990's and now sleeps up to 16 people across its 5 sleeping cabins: two with double beds and three with two, twin-bed bunks in each. All our cabins are pet friendly (charges apply) and all bedlinen is included, however guests must bring their own towels.

The Railway Lounge adjacent to the Carriage also has a self-catering kitchen, dining, and an open-fire sitting room. There is a wash hand basin in each sleeping compartment and there are toilets and showers at either end of the Carriage.

The Railway Carriage, which sleeps up to 16 people, is also available for Exclusive Hire

Bell Tents

We have three fully furnished Bell Tents which can accommodate up to four people. All our Bell Tents are pet friendly (charges apply) and are equipped with beds, linen, rugs, bedside lockers, electric and USB charging stations, however guests must bring their own towels.

Glampers have access to the shared toilet/shower facilities, communal BBQs and Campfires.

Glampers also have access to the Railway Lounge which has it’s own kitchen, dining and living area. Please note, our Bell Tents and campsite are not suitable for children under 6 years old.

Weather conditions in Donegal can range from hot sunshine to severe storms, and everything in between! It is something that is completely beyond our control and whilst all our tents are of the highest quality of canvas, poor weather conditions can occasionally lead to dampness, moisture and rain droplets penetrating the tents. Although it is rare, the potential for such issues to arise is something guests should be aware of before booking a camping holiday in Donegal.

The Boat

Nestled up on the hill with exquisite views over the New Lake nature reserve, is our recently refurbished and converted Boat (known as “The Larry McQuaid”). With its own En Suite shower room, cooking facilities and viewing deck, the Boat has to be one of the quirkiest Glamping options you are likely to find. The Boat is pet friendly (charges apply) and all linen and fresh towels are supplied.

On the bow of the trawler, you will find your own BBQ facilities and up on the viewing deck, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of Horn Head, the New Lake Nature Reserve and Tory Island. Perfect for enjoying Donegal’s famous fiery sunsets.
